The systems have the ability to add up to 2GB of memory as well as a notebook hard drive or flash disk.

AOpen Digital Engine DE2700 is a complete solution for Digital Signage, Projector PC, Media Player, and Vehicle PC. AOpen DE2700 is a compact system of 1.25L with Intel 945GSE Express Chipset supporting Intel socket PBGA437 Atom N270 processors. The AOpen DE2700 had 40,000 hour MTBF and passed shock and vibration operation tests. It can be installed both vertically and horizontally without having thermal issues. AOpen DE2700 adapts mobile CPU, chipset and memory to reduce heat. With less heat, the speed of the fans will drop and create a silent working condition.
